Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
CRB understands that there are numerous important aspects that help a project succeed. Most critical, though, is our ability to meet tight project timelines and control costs and still fulfill the project requirements. CRB can provide integrated services that will optimize the potential for a successful project.
CRB has taken Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) to the next level with our QUEST program. It was developed to provide our clients with premium value and the best chance for success on their projects.
The main components of it consist of:
Quality – Delivering a product that meets or exceeds the “industry standards”
Urgency – Executing the project in a way that will complete the project in the shortest time possible
Efficiency – Plan the work and work the plan with the optimum resource allocation
Safety – Complete the project with zero lost time accidents
Teamwork – Work together as one and respect our team mates
IPD is a hot industry topic. The AIA and AGC organizations have all published numerous documents and regularly hold seminars on the topic. The industry appears focused on contractual issues and the structure of the team as a defining characteristic of IPD.
CRB believes the defining characteristics of IPD are those listed in our QUEST program. Contracts are important, but our most successful projects have been executed with several different contract structures. The contract isn’t the defining characteristic of a successful project.
Truly integrated projects break down barriers and walls between different team members and organizations. Our model is based on open communication, putting project success ahead of company success, a highly collaborative environment, extensive discussion and documentation of each team member's responsibilities using project planning tools, applying Lean Principals to all aspects of execution and sharing of resources between the design, construction and qualification teams.
