CRB led the detailed process design of a 12,500 sq. ft. cGMP pilot plant for the production of monoclonal antibodies (MAb).
The facility was designed to handle multiple product lines and batch sizes, requiring a high degree of flexibility. CRB was responsible for the layout, design and specification of all the process systems including the instrumentation. Assistance was also provided in the review of fermentation and purification process design. To accomplish a fast-track schedule and meet product market commitments, CRB performed the design in a team oriented environment.
