Research & Development Upgrade: CRB was responsible for mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical design services for modifications to Cymer's Advance Research & Design laboratories and supporting office space. Project features include fieldwork to establish existing conditions for HVAC, process utilities, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems. Final design incorporated recommendations made in the preliminary engineering report and included phased construction to minimize the impact to ongoing operations.
Laser Cooling Water: CRB was responsible for mechanical and electrical design services for modifications to Laser Cooling Water system in building CSD-2, the main manufacturing and test facility. Deficiencies in the existing system included an open system (air in the system), steel piping, poor temperature control, water quality, pumping reliability/redundancy, and voltage sag's at the VFD's. The project was structured as a design-assist to quickly make system modifications. Final modifications to the system were completed over a three-day weekend resulting in no downtime to manufacturing.
Worldwide Customer Operations Facility: This project consisted of a 145,000 sq. ft. design-build facility that included offices, cafeteria, training labs, and Class 10,000 manufacturing with a new central plant to support heating and cooling needs.
