Kristina Pumphrey earns Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Kristina Pumphrey, Process Engineer in CRB’s Philadelphia
office, has received her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. The Certified
Six Sigma Black Belt is a professional who can explain Lean and Six Sigma
philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools. Black
Belts have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the DMAIC model in
accordance with Six Sigma principles. To comply with this certification,
Kristina has completed an Internal CRB project to make our project execution
more efficient. The project focused on how to incorporate client changes
between Issued for Design and Issued for Construction.
Kristina will also play an integral part in CRB’s Operations Improvement (OI) initiative by utilizing Lean Six Sigma techniques to improve clients’ material / personnel flow, reducing cycle times, defects, inventory, and new product introduction.
