Mark von Stwolinski to Teach ISPE Design Course

Mark von Stwolinski, Vice President of Facility Integration at CRB, will instruct a two-day classroom training course on Sterile Product Manufacturing Facilities in Chicago, Illinois on September 26 and 27, 2012. The course will focus on the newly published second edition of the ISPE Baseline® Guide: Sterile Product Manufacturing Facilities and the FDA's newly published Guidance for Industry: Sterile Drug Products Produced by Aseptic Processing - Current Good Manufacturing Practice to provide an understanding of the key requirements and GMPs for sterile manufacturing facilities.

Ceva Biomune Kicks off $7 Million R&D Facility Renovation

Ceva Biomune, a world leader in animal health vaccines, hosted a kick-off event on Friday, July 20, 2012, for the renovation of its R&D facility. Currently, R&D operates out of 2,200 square feet of lab space. The renovation will give the team 18,000 square feet of BSL-2 (bio safety level 2) laboratory space and 15,000 square feet of office space. Thirty of Ceva's R&D professionals will work out of leased space in the Venture Accelerator on the Kansas Bioscience Park campus for the one-year duration of the renovation. CRB was awarded the design-build project.

CRB Ranks for the First Time on ENR’s Top 200 International Design Firms List

Each year the Engineering News-Record provides their Top 200 International Design Firms list for the global market. According to the article, as a group the Top 200 saw an increase in revenue from $57.66 billion in 2010 up to $65.31 billion in 2011, a 13.3 percent increase for international projects. The domestic revenue increased as well by 9.8 percent, up from $59.40 billion in 2010 to $65.24 billion in 2011. Overall design revenue was up 11.4 percent from 2010. The largest increase represents the Latin American/Caribbean market who gained a 37.8 percent increase from 2010.

George Hachem speaks on panel at IMN's Conference in NYC

IMN held their 2nd Annual Spring Forum on May 23rd & 24th, 2012, in New York City on Financing, Investing & Real Estate Development for Data Centers. George Hachem spoke as a guest panelist at the event of 450 attendees. He shared his expertise as a member of the Data Center Design, Implementation & Construction Panel including topics on how to optimize performance, designing for future expansion and upgrades, and discussion on the latest industry innovations.

CRB Jumps 21 Spots on ENR’s Top 500 List

CRB celebrates an upgrade from number 154 to 133 on ENR's Top 500 Design Firms List based on 2011 revenue growth. Each year, the Engineering News-Record provides their Top 500 Design Firms List, including domestic and international markets. 2011 results presented the first time in three years that the Top 500 experienced revenue growth - an overall increase of 6.6 percent from 2010. The group's revenue grew from $79.82 billion in 2010 to $85.06 billion in 2011. CRB helped contribute to that rise in revenue, with a company increase of 16.16 percent revenue growth from 2010 to 2011.
